Founded in 1913
Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated was founded on January 13, 1913, by 22 collegiate women at Howard University to promote academic excellence and provide assistance to those in need.
The Epsilon Alpha Chapter
Chartered in 1958
On January 25th, 1958, the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. was chartered on the campus of Delaware State College, now known as Delaware State University.
